To identify how to effectively prepare students studying the discipline of architecture to prosper within the architectural profession; identify what common areas of knowledge are shared by both the discipline and the profession of architecture that could foster this goal; and bring together stakeholders to discuss the issues and impediments in the current educational process, to celebrate innovative models of education, and to identify opportunities to improve the current educational model to support the future of the profession, including evaluating alternative pathways that reduce the cost of a professional degree.
